 Our Fleet   Flotilla

Flotilla sailing is a fleet of yachts sailing together, with the assistance/ guidance of the lead crew. A top choice for sailors who feel they need some assistance, mainly with getting in and out of harbours, and experienced sailors who like the social aspects of sailing in a group whilst having the privacy of their own yacht.

Upon arrival in Poros you will be shown your yacht by the lead crew and will  get the chance to meet the crews of the other yachts in the fleet before going out to explore Poros and get supplies for your yacht.

The next morning there will be a briefing by the lead skipper who will explain the sailing route, the do’s and don'ts and will answer any questions you might have.

During the week the lead boat crew takes the stress out of mooring in unfamiliar harbours, helps you with getting supplies, assisting you on technical matters with the boat and generally contribute to making your holiday more relaxing. They organise a barbecue, punch party and other fun activities during the trip so that the crews get together and share sailing (and other!) experiences.

You will be given a briefing each morning (destination, weather, lunchtime anchorages, etc.) and the lead crew will help you depart for the day's sailing, if required.  You then sail independently until you meet at the destination harbour.

The minimum required qualification to join the flotilla is “RYA Day Skipper” or equivalent.  We do offer specific pre-flotilla courses as well so please contact us if you have any doubts about the certificate or sailing experience you have.
