At the beginning of the summer Bruce Kay joined Greek Sails as the Chief Instructor at Poros Yachting Academy, our RYA-recognised sailing school. Bruce is a Yachtmaster Ocean Instructor and has completed in excess of 20 trans-Atlantic crossings as well as participated in a BT Global Challenge, a round-the-world race that goes ‘the wrong way’ around the world, sailing east to west against the prevailing winds. All this long distance sailing means Bruce has sailed in excess of 250,000 miles. Bruce now heads our instructor team that also includes Ian and Graham. Contact us about your sail training requirements and we will help you find the right course. |

How about the idea of rounding-off your sailing season by joining Greek Sails for an end of season ‘blast’ and taking part in the ‘other’ Round the Island race...the round the island of Poros race! The rally runs over the last weekend of October (27/28-Oct), when the weather is still warm, but the season is coming to a close. No boat? No problem! Why not arrange a short duration charter? Fly out to Athens on the Wednesday or Thursday, pick up a yacht and get familiar with her, before joining the racing on the Saturday and Sunday and going home on the Monday. Simply check the availability of a suitable yacht, mentioning the dates you would like and that you are interested in participating in the ‘Round the Island race’. |

Cecile will be awaiting you at Stand No 125 and will be happy to answer your sailing holiday queries and even take bookings at special Boat Show Prices! We look forward to seeing you there! |
