The Beneteau Oceanis 43 is a cruising yacht providing spacious and comfortable accommodation for a family or group of 6 adults. Accommodation is in three cabins providing six permanent berths with two ‘heads’, with the forepeak cabin having the forward heads en-suite. The main cabin can also provide additional berths.

At 43’ the Oceanis 43 is a ‘big sister’ to the the Oceanis 40 and provides even more space for a three-cabin yacht and consequently provides a lot of internal space. She can be sailed by a couple, although being larger with more sail area a larger crew allows work to be shared and gives more hands when mooring.

Sailing

The Beneteau Oceanis 43 can be managed by a crew of two although at 43’ a larger crew of three or four makes mooring and other tasks easier as work can be shared. She sails well and benefits from enormous internal space providing comfortable yet entertaining, safe and stable sailing.

Equipment

The Greek Sails Beneteau Oceanis 43 yacht is equipped with wheel steering with Raymarine autopilot, roller furling genoa and an slab-reefed mainsail. She is built with an ‘owner’s specification’ meaning she benefits from luxuries such as teak decks, radar and a dark blue hull.

There is an inflatable dinghy with outboard to help you get ashore if you anchor-off or simply to allow you to explore.

Instrumentation includes twin binnacle compasses, chart plotter and twin Raymarine ST70 tridata instruments in the cockpit with a GPS, DSC VHF radio & EPIRB by the chart table in the mian cabin. Charts for the chart plotter and paper charts and pilot guides are provided.

The yacht is equipped CD/radio player with speakers in the main cabin and external speakers in the cockpit allowing you to listen to music as you sail.

The Beneteau Oceanis 43 offers a large main saloon, three cabins and two toilet/shower rooms (‘heads’ in sailing talk), both with hot water.

Each cabin has a double berth giving six berths plus the saloon seats are convertible to berths . Each cabin has a hanging wardrobe. Due to her size, there is a general feeling of space & light in the Beneteau Oceanis 43 making her good for larger groups.

The galley includes a double sink, top-entry fridge, twin-burner cooker with oven and plenty of storage both behind the worktop & cooker and below the sinks.

Outside the cockpit has teak lazerette seats, teak cockpit sole & decks with both a spray hood & bimini to provide shade from the sun. There are external loudspeakers connected to the CD/radio allowing you to enjoy music as you sail. The Beneteau Oceanis 43 is equipped with twin wheels and a generous cockpit table.

The Beneteau Oceanis 43 provides a main-cabin heads to starboard with an en-suite heads also to starboard in the forward cabin. The forepeak cabin includes a hatch onto the foredeck and there are two spacious rear cabins in the stern.

There is a chart table to port at the bottom of the companionway with control panel, GPS, DSC VHF radio, EPIRB and CD/radio player.
